Fun game! The missile jets surprised me and took out a shield, a turret, and me with their first missile.
There was definitely a strategic element to utilizing the tools at your disposal which I appreciate. Staying mindful of balancing upgrades and buying units was interesting, as well.
I definitely had fun playing this! I think a greater sense of either story/setting advancement or tactical options would add a lot of replayability, but it’s definitely enjoyable as is.
Thank you very much for your suggestion. A decent story or setting will definitely make it better. I will try to add one.
It reminds me of RED CODE. It’s a flash game with a split-mode (using your landed ship’s turret, or going out on foot). Might check it out for inspo!~
I watched the gameplay and it gave me some ideas for improvement. will try to play it myself later. Thanks again, I really appreciate it
Very cool, figuring out rotations for shot timings and turret/shield placements is satisfying.
Some slight bugs:
- If more than one menu layer is active, but the most recent one gets closed, gameplay update resumes while lower menus are still displayed
- Although the main update does pause when opening a menu, LMB/RMB is still able to be read for shooting at wherever the guns were aiming last (though perhaps that can also be inspiration for a time slow/stop mechanic)
Thank you very much for the bug report. I will work on it.
